Pastor John. We are so thankful for having you such a humble, faithful and loving servant of Christ in our church. We praise God and celebrate your life which has left an honourable example and legacy for us to follow. We will forever remember your smiles, your gentleness, your passion to reach out to the lost, your caring and pastoral heart, your approachable and personal touch. Your love for God and to your family have inspired us to press on. I can still hear the teaching you preached to us till the very end of your life. You hold the faith, fight the battle and now win the prize in heaven reserved for you, we rejoice and we celebrate your life and all the goodness you have left for us. We will miss you until we see you again in heaven. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
