His lively character and gospel oriented attitude especially in presence of newcomers at the local church or elsewhere would last a very long time in my mind. Hung 牧師 Moxi (reverend John) was a so skillful servant of Christ with so many contacts and relational network that the Paris East local church doesn't lack of anything and in the contrary has various short term missionaries at needed time even after the departure of the couple Hung in 2011 from France to England. Apart from his practical sermons at the early time of the French and Chinese speaking local church (巴黎東區華人浸信會) that led me to my baptism (by he) in 1995, pastor Hung gave us (my family and I) the taste of seeking the Lord at all times, depending on Him, seeing Him acts within the family, within the brethren, through current and more unique relationships all around us ! Recently, in the last three years, we met the Hung family several times, next to Hammersmith, London area and also at Noisy-le-Grand city, France, and felt each time very pleased to see his smiling face, his hope, his plans even with the bad or good evolution of his cancer and heavy medical treatments. No matter what happening, he continued to see the positive way of life because he knows that he was in Jesus and he was always eager to do his best to conform his acts and thoughts to the Lord's will. So it is with emotion and 不捨得的心 that I write these lines on and knowing perfectly that he is in the Lord's shalom by now ! Engseng & Viviane's family
